HabiStat Leopard Gecko Bedding

HabiStat Leopard Gecko Bedding is a natural mix of clay, sand, and gravel that provides an environment closely resembling the natural habitat of Leopard Geckos and other desert species.

This fully natural and absorbent substrate encourages geckos to dig thanks to its structure. The components of the mix have been carefully selected to mimic the natural environment where geckos live, making it a better choice tailored to the species’ needs than standard substrates available on the market.

The mixed particles of the substrate retain moisture after misting, creating humid spots similar to those found in burrows and hiding places in nature. Reptiles seek out such humid areas during shedding or when they require higher humidity, which also stimulates digging behavior.

HabiStat substrates are packed in 100% biodegradable and recyclable paper bags.

Instructions for use:

Spread the substrate evenly across the bottom of the vivarium, ensuring a depth of 5–7.5 cm. If you are using underfloor heating, do not overfill the substrate. Regularly remove any soiled areas and replace the substrate as needed.
