Trixie – desert sand for terrariums. The original, fine-grained substrate from Africa. Due to its excellent thermal conductivity it is ideal for use in terraria heated with heating mats and cables. It also warms up brilliantly from other heat sources such as heating bulbs or radiant heaters. The substrate is also suitable for egg-laying desert animals.
