Skylight PARMASTER F is an advanced LED light for planted aquariums, designed for tanks where wide, even and powerful illumination of the entire layout is essential. This model was created primarily for aquariums with a larger front-to-back depth, where classic point-source lights are not always able to illuminate the entire plant layout effectively. The PARMASTER F series was developed to light a large area with strong yet soft light, making it an excellent choice for both High Tech tanks and more expansive Low Tech aquariums. The lamp uses LED technology, but its light character resembles fixtures based on traditional T5 fluorescent tubes, which is one of its most distinctive features.

Wide light coverage and even illumination for plants

The greatest advantage of Skylight PARMASTER F is the way it distributes light over the aquarium. The large fixture size, integrated reflectors and surface lens allow the lamp to effectively illuminate a large tank area and provide uniform lighting conditions throughout the entire layout. This is especially important in wider planted aquariums, where not only power matters, but also equal light access for plants placed in the foreground, midground and background. As a result, every part of the tank can receive light suited to the needs of the plants, including more demanding species and red varieties.

Strong yet soft light for High Tech and Low Tech aquariums

PARMASTER F emits powerful yet soft light that supports healthy plant growth while allowing you to enjoy the aquarium comfortably. The manufacturer recommends this series for High Tech aquariums with a width of 40–60 cm and for larger Low Tech tanks up to 60–100 cm wide. This versatility makes the lamp highly effective both in intensively maintained planted tanks with fertilisation and CO2, and in calmer layouts based on less demanding species. The balanced light spectrum not only supports plant development, but also beautifully enhances the natural colours of leaves, stems and aquarium fish.

High PAR and effective lighting for demanding layouts

Skylight PARMASTER F has undergone PAR testing, confirming its very high lighting performance. The PAR density measured at the water surface directly beneath the lamp suspended 25 cm above the aquarium is approximately 500 µmol·m⁻²·s⁻¹. This result shows that the PARMASTER F series was designed for aquariums that require intense and stable lighting. In practice, this means excellent conditions for planted tanks with species that have higher light demands, as well as better possibilities for creating dense, striking aquascapes.

Colour temperature control and convenient Wi-Fi operation

The lamp is equipped with a built-in Wi-Fi controller that allows convenient operation via the SL Control app. The user can adjust the colour temperature within a range of 3,000–30,000 K, change brightness and set a daily schedule. Thanks to its connection to the home Wi-Fi network, the lamp can run automatically according to saved settings, without the need to reconnect through the app each time. This practical solution makes it possible to precisely adapt the character of the light to the needs of the plants, the maturation stage of the tank and the user’s visual preferences.

Minimalist design and elegant mounting above the aquarium

Skylight PARMASTER F stands out with its modern, minimalist design and refined construction. The body efficiently dissipates heat, while the clean appearance is emphasised by the lack of visible screws and only a single power cable. As a result, the lamp looks light and modern above an open aquarium without drawing attention away from the layout itself. Discreet steel suspension cables are included, allowing the lamp to be mounted quickly and elegantly. The series is available in FS, FM and FL variants, which differ mainly in length and power, making it easier to match the right model to the size of the aquarium.
