Description

Exo Terra Snake Bedding is a biodegradable snake substrate made from eco-friendly wood, ideal for breeders and keepers of reptiles. It is very soft and has been dusted off, so it will work well even for the most sensitive species and young specimens. The unique texture of the fibre allows reptiles to build their nests in optimal natural conditions. Very high absorbency (3:1) combined with quick-drying properties make this 100% natural bedding significantly easier to maintain at a very high level of hygiene. Exo Terra’s snake substrate is heat-treated to reduce bacterial contamination and increase absorbency. Poplar wood is known to neutralise unpleasant odours very well.

Directions for use:

Make sure the terrarium or breeding container is dry and thoroughly disinfected. Spread an even layer (minimum 2-3 cm) on the bottom. Clean the bedding topically every day, removing faeces and food residues. Replace the entire bedding every 8 weeks or as needed.
Note: it is recommended to remove reptiles from the bedding when feeding.
